Kitron is currently looking for a Strategic Sourcing Specialist, who is going to join a Global Sourcing Team of 20 co-workers located in Kaunas. The main responsibility in this role is to ensure that both customer and employer’s expectations related to the sourcing of material are fulfilled.

Job Description:

• Cooperation with appointed material commodity suppliers
• Analysis of suppliers’ quotes for all Kitron production sites (Lithuania, Poland, Norway, Sweden, China, US)
• Selection of suppliers during the evaluation of received quotes
• Cost reduction and supplier’s management to ensure timely supply chain processes
• Identification and implementation of innovative solutions for more effective sourcing/purchase process

Requirements:

• Higher education (preferably electronics or economics)
  
• Strong English language skills, both oral and written
• Experience in sourcing or procurement
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel
• Result-oriented, excellent communication and collaboration skills
