Kitron is currently looking for a PDS (Product Data Service) Department Manager, located in any country, where Kitron & BB Electronics operate. The primary responsibility in this role is to build up and lead the PDS department and drive the standardization of master data management, RFQ process, and product environmental compliance by ensuring delivery, profitability, process, quality, environment, and safety requirements within all Kitron & BB Electronics sites.
Job Description:
- Monitor and execute the master data creation and RFQ processes
- Ensure product environmental compliance (RoHS, REACH, etc.)
- Monitor component life cycle change, pre-active alert, and propose alternatives to avoid shortage
- Lead team, assign the tasks and develop the team members' competencies needed to reach the department goals, optimize work methods
- Prepare and monitor the department budget
- Act according to Kitron's Ethical Code of Conduct and comply with requirements according to procedures in the quality system
- Support and participate in the company’s projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in electronics, mechatronics engineering, business, and administration, or project management (lack of formal education may be substituted by relevant work experience)
- Knowledge in electronics manufacturing, management, economy, or accounting
- Skills in handling personnel and performance management
- High collaboration with others, negotiating, and presentation skills
- Ability to work with challenging deadlines and changing priorities
- Good knowledge of written and oral English
