Kitron is currently looking for a Sourcing Specialist, who is going to join Kitron's Norway Sourcing team, which is located in Arendal and Kaunas. The main responsibility in this role is to ensure that both customer's and employer's expectations related to the sourcing of material and components are fulfilled. The Sourcing Specialist in this role would be directly reporting to Logistics Manager, Kitron Norway. We will be recruiting for this position with a temporary contract until approximately 2027-06-30 (maternity cover).

Job Description:

• New products material cost calculation.
  
• Sending and collecting requests for quotation from the supplier according to customer specifications.
• Analyses of purchase cost.
• Negotiation with suppliers for price/cost reduction of top value components.
• Preparation of material cost offers.
• Managing appointed customers programs.
• Inventory turnover optimisation and securing material for production availability.
• Identification and implementation of new solutions for a more effective purchase process.

Requirements:

• Higher education.
• Experience in sourcing/procurement procedures or similar fields.
• Strong English language skills, both spoken and written.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
• Analytical, structured and result-oriented.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
