Kitron is actively seeking a Technical Business Development Manager with the ability to build strong partnerships. In this pivotal global role, you will lead the expansion of business opportunities within the EMS and electronics sector, with a core focus on building strategic partnerships with leading design, engineering, and technology development firms.
This position requires deep expertise in manufacturing processes, industrialization, and product development workflows, enabling you to effectively understand customer needs, engage with advanced technologies, and support complex decision-making. A key responsibility of this role is the ability to evaluate and deep‑dive into technologies, competencies, and development approaches to identify and secure the most suitable suppliers for a wide range of customer projects and market demands.
Location: As a global role, you may be based in any country where Kitron Group operates, including Finland, Estonia, Latvia, or elsewhere in Europe.

Job Description:
Develop and execute effective business development strategies to meet sales targets and drive growth, with a strong emphasis on partnerships with leading design, engineering, and technology development firms.
Oversee the entire sales cycle - from initial outreach and technical qualification to contract negotiation and final closure - ensuring alignment with both customer needs and technical capabilities.
Stay current on market trends, emerging technologies, development methodologies, and the competitive landscape across the EMS, electronics, and product development sectors.
Generate accurate sales forecasts for new business opportunities, including projects requiring complex manufacturing, industrialization, or advanced technology competencies.
Provide support for local customer management initiatives, ensuring smooth communication between development partners, customers, and internal teams.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional groups - including Technical Departments across the Kitron Group, Sourcing, Marketing, Operations, and Finance - to ensure seamless coordination, technology evaluation, and alignment of business development activities.
Apply a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, industrialization workflows, and development methodologies to identify, evaluate, and propose the most suitable suppliers and technology partners for diverse customer requirements.

Requirements:
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, industrialization, product development workflows, and technology evaluation, enabling effective communication with engineering, development, and technical decision‑makers.
Demonstrated ability to engage with and build partnerships with design, engineering, and technology development firms.
Ability to assess technologies, competencies, and development methodologies to match customer needs with the most suitable suppliers and partners.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or related discipline (relevant industry experience may substitute for formal education).
Excellent proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
Proficiency in a Scandinavian language is an advantage.
Strong networking, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage at both strategic and technical levels.
Strong leadership, organizational, and analytical capabilities with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.
Ability to communicate effectively with individuals at all levels of internal and external organizations.
Demonstrated creative and critical thinking abilities in complex, technology‑driven environments.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
