Kitron is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Specialist to join our Global Sourcing Team, based either in Kaunas, Lithuania or in Poland. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that both customer and company expectations related to material sourcing are consistently met.
Job Description:
Cooperation with Kitron production sites globally to reach strategic sourcing goals.
Cooperation with appointed material commodity suppliers.
Analysis of suppliers’ quotes for all Kitron production sites (Lithuania, Poland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, the Czech Republic, and the US).
Selection of suppliers during the evaluation of received quotes.
Drive cost‑reduction initiatives and manage suppliers to ensure timely and reliable supply chain performance.
Identify and implement innovative solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of sourcing/purchasing processes.
Requirements:
A higher education background in business administration, logistics, economics, or technology is preferred - ideally with a focus on electronics, mechanics, automation, or the process industry. Relevant professional experience may be considered in place of formal education.
Strong English and Lithuanian language skills, both spoken and written.
Experience in sourcing/procurement procedures or similar fields.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel.
Result-oriented, excellent communication, collaboration, problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Analytical, structured, and able to influence change.
Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in alignment with departmental and organizational needs.
Positive attitude and approach to forming a healthy working environment and respectful communication.
