Kitron is seeking a highly driven Business Development Manager to accelerate our growth in the Swedish market. The purpose of this role is to develop and execute effective business development strategies to meet sales targets and revenue objectives. This role is ideal for a proactive hunter who excels at identifying, approaching, and converting new customers within the EMS or electronics manufacturing sector. You will play a key role in strengthening Kitron’s commercial footprint in Sweden and the broader Nordic region.
Job Description:
Develop and execute effective business development strategies to meet sales targets and revenue objectives.
Identify, target, and acquire new customers mainly in Sweden within the EMS/electronics segment.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and new business opportunities.
Conduct outreach, customer visits, presentations, and negotiations to secure new business.
Analyze customer needs and translate them into competitive commercial proposals.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Sourcing, Operations, and Finance to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of business development efforts.
Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitor activities in the Nordic region.
Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance updates.
Adhere to Kitron's procedures, work regulations, and the Kitron Code of Conduct.
Requirements:
Proven track record of B2B sales experience in Scandinavia, preferably in the Swedish EMS, electronics, or other technical industry.
Excellent English skills (corporate language).
Swedish language proficiency is a strong advantage; other Scandinavian languages are a plus.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results.
Analytical mindset and ability to structure complex customer requirements.
Ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business field (or equivalent experience).
