Kitron is currently seeking a Team Lead to join the Global Sourcing Team. The main responsibility in this role is to ensure coordination of activities within the team, drive process improvement, and provide support to the direct manager on supplier and commodity strategy implementation.
Job Description:
Lead weekly team meetings, set priorities, and ensure alignment with departmental and company objectives.
Monitor team workload distribution and proactively rebalance tasks to optimize efficiency.
Act as the first escalation point for team members.
Provide continuous coaching, feedback, and development check‑ins for team members.
Lead external supplier meetings to strengthen cooperation on both strategic and operational levels.
Contribute to annual strategy planning for the Electronics commodity.
Lead coordination between regions (EU/US/Asia) and within all Kitron manufacturing sites to ensure consistent sourcing practices globally.
Requirements:
Education level at Bachelor's or Master's within business administration, logistics, economy, or technology, preferably within electronics, mechanics, automation, or process industry (lack of formal education could be substituted with relevant work experience).
Experience in sourcing/procurement procedures.
Fluent English (written and spoken).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to prioritize tasks effectively based on department and company needs.
Analytical skills, problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
Positive attitude and approach to forming a healthy working environment and respectful communication.
Leadership and coaching skills.
